Chapter 35
Adrian's POV I am standing infront of my house. Its late at night and it seems like there's no one inside. I slowly opened the door and an eerie silence welcomed me. I tried calling everyone's name, but there was no response. I tried to switch on the light, but to no avail. Suddenly, I heard a woman's scream. It seems to be coming from upstairs. The only light available is the faint moonlight coming through the windows and its not clear enough for me to locate the stairs. I searched my pockets for my phone, but I couldn't find it. With much difficulty, I managed to get to the stairs. The screams are getting more louder and desperate. So, without further thoughts, I ran upstairs. Its darkness everywhere except for the light coming from my room. Suddenly I heard another scream. This time
