Chapter 17 – Shanghai Tour

I was in the backstage waiting for the “GO” call when suddenly, the stage had problems so I had to run on the other side because the lift isn’t working. Anyway, I got there in time and thankfully, it wasn’t a big deal for everyone thought I was already catching my breath when I started dancing.

Few more songs and it felt like just a minute. “Are you having fun?” Screams are all over the place and thankfully, they are having the most out of this day. Some fans even throw their phones on the stage. I got almost hit by a mere inch. “Be careful throwing your phone, guys. You’ll break it.” I picked the first phone and took a selfie with the crowd.

It almost seem like a photo time since most of them throw their phones on the stage as well. I didn’t take all of them. We continued the concert and played some games with the fans as well. I had fun and everyone is quick to follow me to the backstage and do all the change ups. I was greeted with the oxygen mask and I had to breath because I was losing a lot of air.

They ask me if I should delay my other songs. I told them, “I’ll be fine” but I guess that I am not really lucky this time. I was about to stand up when I sprained my ankle. I was left with no choice but to sit down and let the doctor take a look at it. Eli was quick to go there and tell one of the staff to announce that I am not gonna perform because of this because the next song is already starting.

I told Eli, I can still sing but she was very determine to cancel the show. I told her a few times that I am already here. I can sing for them anyway. She is so worried that she ask the doctor many times if it’s okay for me to perform. The doctor told her that I’ll be fine as long as I don’t dance too much. I was carried to the stage via wheelchair and everyone was ready to help and was very concern as they thought I was in a big trouble.

Thankfully, the lift was fixed and I was able to go up using it. I have to happy and not to worry my fans. As soon as I saw thousands of fans. They got wild again and cheered as I started my song “Lift Me Up”

Actually, I cried at that last part. I made this song when I was really at the bottom of the dark sides but I can’t think that I’ll be singing this after all these years. This song was all about a person who wishes to be seen despite his longing wishes, he still hoped that he’ll be able to shine like everyone else. I can’t deny why all people still await at something they know they can’t have. I guess, people are just like that. Hoping that one day, your wishes will be granted is something you will never take slightly.

I bid my goodbye’s and finally I’m off to Taipei. It’s hard to rest when your body is in contradiction. I am thinking about the trial but I am also thinking about the fans who are waiting and getting excited about the concert. I was able to sleep thanks to the classical song that was playing in the plane right now but then everything shakes.

I was startled when the plane suddenly shakes so bad that everyone in the plane started to panic, not all of them, but Jericho is still calm after all the trouble and safely coordinate with the captain of this plane. Everyone came together when I hit my forehead on the window and bled. When things starts to calm down and the situation is already clear, Eli and the others came to see if I am okay. Thankfully, it wasn’t serious and that I still need to check in with the doctor. I said “I don’t feel any pain. I am fine” but they can’t take the risks of even bruising my handsome face so everybody agreed and Jericho called the doctor to get ready when we land.

The captain was very concerned that he checks up on us one by one. I thanked him for finding a way to stabilize the plane or we’ll all be toasted. He laughed and that made him more relaxed as well. When I was descending down the stairs, I felt my surrounding danced and so I stopped walking and calm myself a bit. Eli came to me asking me “Are you okay?” and I nodded. I close my eyes as tight as I could.

Eli told me that the doctor is already at the hotel so we’ll head there ASAP. I guess, my fans isn’t very helpful today as they all gathered and flashes are all around me. Security was fast to guard me and Jona beside me covering the flashes to my face with his hand. I was looking down from time to time because my head is spinning already. I was escorted to the van with all the fans still following me but Jona was quick and was able to get me to the hotel safely. I was about to enter my room when I suddenly I felt everything is black.
