47 - Maeve While Kathleen was playing nurse around her doctor, I finished my spontaneous report and saved the file for later. A half-formed project was slowly solidifying in my head. There must be a way to make up for that devastation. A low sniffling drew me in the recess where I had been so well cared for only a few weeks ago. The curtains had been pulled shut to give privacy to the patient. I announced my presence with a soft “Hey. You OK?” then I pulled the drapes, in a slow move.
