“It is not Cody’s fault!” I finally yelled.
“Don’t speak, Caroline, you’ll not like the consequences. Your boyfriend was not able to do the only task we gave him; thus he has
to be punished. Since he loves you so much, what would be better than to hurt you?” Keith smirked and I lowered my head.
This is his land, his world. I can’t speak up, I can’t ask for justice.
