New life
I had to be at his place early, his Grandmother wakes up early,by 6.
which means I have to wake up earlier and be there before she wakes up.
So I rested for the rest of the day!.
Moving away wouldn't be difficult; but I would definitely miss Tina.
Coming to think of Tina ...she would definitely be at work...
Can't wait to share the news with her!
She would be elated.
I fell asleep thinking about everything so far.
I woke up the next morning in anticipation for my new job wondering what it was going to be like...
I quickly had my bath and packed the little belongings I owned.
A knock on the door interrupted me!
I was wondering who could be here at this time...the day is still young!

We were sent from Mr Elyon to pick you up!
He thought you might not know your way around!

I stood, rooted to the ground...
Shocked as to how they found my house!
I couldn't recall giving him my address!

A very stupid question to ask! But I just couldn't wrap my head around the whole thing!
The body guards turned their faces to each other and bursted out laughing!
What was funny..? I thought in my head!
Ma'am Mr Elyon can have whichever address he wants to within the bat of an eyelid!

I quickly finished packing and followed them!
We arrived at a pair of golden gates that opened automatically and revealed the most beautiful mansion my eyes had ever seen.
My mouth opened wide in amazement.
This was truly a beauty to behold!
He parked the car and I slowly opened the door and got out.
I followed him through the entrance and into the living room. I had to stop to take it all in.
I wasn't expecting this much beauty.There was a huge chandelier in the middle of the sitting room, and a gold statue of a man!
How rich were these people..?
The house bespoke luxury!
Leather couches, rugs and expensive looking paintings.

The guard that brought me here said.
Mr Riggs has amazing eyes for good things.
Is he married? Does he have kids ?
I found myself thinking..
Of what difference would it make even though he was married...?

He was with an old but agile looking woman in a wheelchair.
She looked familiar..! I had defs seen this face before!

"This is Elora Bells.
She's your new assistant.. I heard Mr Elyon say!
I hope Grandma doesn't pursue this one as well..
She's never really liked any of the assistants I have hired so far!

The kitchen was another sight to behold!
It was beautifully crafted...
Though it looked posh but still had this homey feeling...
Mia was just a maid. She's in charge of cleaning the living room and kitchen.
So you have to prepare Grandma's herbal tea just the way she likes it!
Mia's voice disrupted my thoughts
.. okay I stammered
You have to boil the milk, and cinnamon, then add the tea bags and little honey for some taste ...
The Doctor has advised Grandma not to take sugary items...
But If it doesn't taste nice, Grandma won't take it…

You take the tea to her every morning.
Mia taught me Grandma's everyday routine...
I had to do everything accordingly....
She had even told me
about how Grandma would complain if the former assistants made a mistake...and Mr Elyon would fire them!
He hates slackers..!
We talked alot, she had been working here for 3 years now.
she also told me about all the maids that had come and gone.
She finished teaching me everything and I proceeded to take a rest while she went to the Restroom.
I was still sitting and thinking about how fast everything had changed before Mia walked up to me and said I was needed in the office...
The office..?
I sounded shocked...there was an office here...how rich were these people?
She led me up a flight of stairs then turned left on the second floor. She pointed to the sign in the door which read : "THE OFFICE".
She went back downstairs as I knocked.
"Come," he commanded
He was sitting at a desk, on his computer with reading glasses on.
He looked so handsome and intelligent.
"Yes, sir?"
"Elora, I believe you have been told everything you need to do, you are to do everything accordingly. If you make a mistake,you get fired, do you understand..?
"Yes, Mr Elyon."
"Also you're staying the night."
I had seen the servants' headquarters when we pulled up earlier. It was along the right side of the mansion, a nice,warm place like a big cottage, with separate rooms and personal spaces.
I couldn't wait to be inside of it.
"Help Mia prepare a guest room for you downstairs," he continued.
I was shocked. I would be staying inside the mansion?
In a guest bedroom?
