I woke up surrounded by her scent, the scent that had me in a trance from the moment I had first sensed it and the scent that I knew would forever hold me, prisoner. Opening my eyes, I realised then that I was holding onto her waist with my head just on the side of her neck. My eyes travelled to the spot that my mark would soon lay, I would mark her as mine. My wolf urged me to mark her now, he wanted nothing more than to be one with Aqua already. I knew she wasn’t ready, trying to rush it was not an option – it would get us nowhere. She laid asleep; I was surprised she hadn’t moved in her sleep the position she was in looked uncomfortable. That was my fault, she slept uncomfortably because of me.
