ANNE The distance from the tree top to the ground seems to have increased because it takes me eternity to reach down. I am more than horrified as I am certain that I am as good as dead. The creatures at the bottom of the tree have been screaming and baying for our blood and now I am going down to them, delivered unwillingly. As I hit the ground with my feet I assess the damage immediately and conclude that I'm unharmed. Then as the creatures converge on me I take off, towards the direction where they are less congested. If I can go past them I can easily climb another tree. My colleagues shout at me, encouraging me to run but there's no enough light in the dense forest.
