ANNE In the morning we take a hurried breakfast and park our belongings. Dan folds up the tents and we strap our bags on our backs and start off. The luggage is quite heavy considering that we are now only three of us remaining and we are carrying luggage meant for four people. We have an advantage though, the morning is too cold, a surprise because it has been hot through out for the time we have been here until I began to think that it's always the norm. Rachel is leading and I follow while Dan is behind us, as the man, to us a sense of security. We emerge from the deep woods and encounter a vast grassland filled with grazing wildlife. I have seen these animals for a while now and I can easily recognize some like the striped zebra and the giraffe because of its long neck as it feed
