The morning comes and the forest starts clearing up, the darkness is slowly being driven out by the coming sunlight. My colleagues are all asleep, which makes it easy for me to escape unseen. Something about all of them has turned me off, especially my boyfriend Dan. I am alive miraculously, only because the night creatures were reluctant in tearing me up, something I attribute to a disagreement with the leader.
My friends did nothing to help me when I was in trouble and I feel betrayed. And now they can afford to sleep as if nothing happened. I am even more peeved when I remember that they had no apologies to make. Then their decision to stay in the park irrespective of what I went through, that's what has made me decide to leave.
