“Good morning, Elder Ron, Erika. Thank you for coming.” Kayne said, sweeping his arm in a wide gesture, inviting the Elder and High Priestess to have a seat. Elder Ron was a short very old man with wispy white hair topping his head in tufts. He had tanned, wrinkled skin with a lot of age spots and skin tags. He was the oldest member of the pack, and the most tenured Elder when it came to almost anything. Erika was a High Priestess who was the head of the High Counsel. She had access to the prophet who, it was believed, spoke to the Goddess. “Thank you, Alpha. How can I help you?” Elder Ron asked in a small, creaky voice. “As you know, my mate died years ago after giving birth to my son who passed just after her. My mate was a human, which I understand is a rarity on it's own.” Kayne
