The past
It was dark. Anthony was driving back home when he found a girl who blocked his way crossing the road and fell unconscious in front of his car. “What the f**k! Did you get only my car out of all the vehicles in the city for choosing to die?”
Anthony steamed out of his vehicle in added fury to look at the girl and his eyes highlighted like stars. “Celeste?”
“Wake up, Sweetheart? What happened to you?” He shook her holding her face in his hands but there was no reply.
Carrying her bridal style, he put her in his car and drove to the hospital. The doctor checked upon her. “Mr Rodriguez, she is extremely weak and anemic because of which she lost consciousness. I note she has not had a proper meal for many days. We have to put her on saline.”
