I hold Ember's hand as we walk back towards the castle. I can’t help but notice the peaceful look on her face as she still tries to take in all the beauty around her. While the fae world is incredibly beautiful, none of it holds a candle to Ember herself. In the soft glow of the night, I don't know how but she is even more beautiful. I can't stop watching her out of the corner of my eye, and smile at the smile permanently plastered to her face.
“How are you going to handle tonight?” Blaze asks in the back of my mind. I know what he is referring to. I am a dominant to every letter of the word. I am an alpha wolf, that's embedded into my DNA.
