You would think for such an advantage race, that the Fae would have cars like we have in the human world. While these people are far more advanced than many things based on their magic alone, they don't have the technologies that our world has today. I would assume since I haven't seen a cell phone anywhere, that they even still get messages by visiting in person or sending along a rider with a note. I don't know if this is purposeful or if they just choose to live this way. But riding in the carriage, looking at all the scenery around us, I cannot doubt the carriage ride is one of the best ways to view a new place.
