I look him in the eyes and watch as they turn to the bright blue I know as Blaze's eyes. The look in them I see staring back at me, is one of fear.
“I’m sorry love, I couldn’t stop him.” He brings his hand up to my face and pushes back a piece of hair that I hadn’t noticed had fallen. “I hope he didn’t scare you”
“It’s okay. He did a little at first. But I guess I scared you both first.” I look down, I feel ashamed of myself, not really knowing why exactly. I just want to keep them safe. Blaze leans over and hugs me.
