Pearl
I got out of the garden and sneaked inside Ian's manor
With stealth and determination, I slinked through the shadows of the manor grounds, the adrenaline coursing through my veins as I slipped past the guards and walked toward the manor.
I walked to the window and I peeped through an open place to see if Ian was inside. The interior was opulent and grand, the rich tapestries and ornate furnishings a stark contrast to the wilds of the garden just like I remembered.
My eyes darted as I searched the room, only a lamp was on.
My heart pounded as I continued searching for Ian.
“What are you doing” I heard Ian's voice and I turned around to see him standing
