Asu P.O.V

"In other words dear brother," I stood next to Anna grabbing her hand to comfort her  "she is Kim's sister, your sister-in-law" 

Everyone was frozen in place and I saw my brother's face go from serious to slowly hang his mouth open with a loud POP making everyone snap out of it and stare at him, it was comical in a way. 

"brother" I frowned at his action.

Brother composed himself feeling how silly he looked and cough " it took me by surprise that's all"

dad turned around and muffle his laughter or at least try to but failed miserably brother glared daggers at his back 

 " anyways..." and turned to Anna who tightened her hold a bit bracing herself for his words she was still heavily guarded when it came to our kind it saddens me to see her this way, " in that case welcome to the family" he smiled from ear to ear his sincerity was crystal clear in his eyes opening his arms wanting to hug her

She looked at me, I gave her a light push towards him he chuckled and hugged her for a small amount of time sensing her wariness " there is no need to be afraid of anything inside this pack no one will bring harm to you nor will they show any discourtesy"

I looked at dad who was already composed came to my side " is true " he said proudly as he looked at my brother " your brother did an amazing job"

come to think about it their reactions when we came home was welcoming I found it odd but looking at brother I remembered his words the day I left about reforming the pack, so he actually kept it, I felt proud and relieved. 

"By the way Asu your scar is gone" dad moved my hair out of the way " I am glad" there was a sense of relief coming from his words yet some of it was fear?

"It vanished the moment I transform" I gave him a small smile putting the last part of his tone aside I knew well that dad of all people was tormented by my scar " But I do admit, losing it made me feel empty"

His eyes turned sad but quickly vanished and chuckle " I leave it to you to feel that way"

I tiled my head to the side and saw him become surprised for a moment but it quickly faded replaced with  a warm look while shaking his head with a low laugh " put back on the wig and the contacts before anyone decides to barge in again"

I pretended not to hear that last part and did as I was told,  I looked at Liam who was still lost in thought, and walked to him I needed to thank him properly "can you come down a bit"

he looked at me confused but did as he was told what I did next shocked everyone including him I felt his shoulders stiffen as I hug him and heard loud growls coming from dad and brother quickly letting him go before a fight erupted.

 " thank you for watching over me when my brother couldn't I was probably a handful" although I knew well I wasn't.

Kim snorted I will deal with her later... 

his surprise lasted for a while but eventually relaxed and his lips pull to a huge proud grin patting my head " you were never a handful"

Kim didn't stop and let out a small laugh hitting a nail on me.

" dad is there a place I can keep working out" I flashed an innocent smile and dad quickly brighten up glanced at Kim seeing her freeze while trying to keep herself composed while Anna looked at her and shook her head letting out a sigh patting her shoulder with pity.

" We can set it up!" dad said with glee " when do you want it? you know what never mind well get it ready for you in a moment" he looked at my brother whose eyes clouded mind-linking, someone.

"you know how to fight?" my brother asked excitedly as soon as he was done, I swear I could see his tail wagging and I wasn't the only one who could Anna and Kim stared at him too withholding their laughs.

"godmother" was the only thing needed for them to shudder to give me a face with pity more, I only sighed earning me more pity, It was ticking me off 

" it will be ready in a few minutes could be hours though," my brother said 

" You hear that Kimmy?" I walked to her with a smile tapping her shoulder she froze at my touch 

"I warn multiple times my dear Kimmy" I mind link her 

she gave a nervous laugh " yes I did" 

Anna tapped me on the shoulder " give her a break"

"Nope not this time she wasted her chances" I turned to seat 

" what do you mean?" my brother asked me with his eyebrow raised " why is she... frozen?" he looked at her concern trying to figure out what was causing her dismay.

"will you like to know?" remembering the pranks he pulled on me I smiled wickedly and saw Anna taking a step away from me, dad stare at her way with questioning eyes but she only smiled apologetically not letting him know what was in store for his son.

" ....yes?" he didn't sound so sure 

" great then," clapping my hands and looked at Kim "luck once again is on your side ain't it Kimmy"

she relaxed but that relief didn't last long as now it was her mate who was facing trouble she looked at him with worried eyes he looked at her confused. I was glad she had my brother by her side I didn't have to worry about her mate dying as he also has retained immortality, now the only one to worry about is Anna if she was mated to a vampire then it was perfect but if her fate was just like Kim who was mated to another kind then... I looked away from them tormented by my own thoughts.

"Asu" dad called my name and saw his eyes sadden so were Liam's and my brother's did I do something wrong? did I not mask my features? " we need to tell you something" relief washed over me so that wasn't it good then...

"Before that I been meaning to ask" I felt their tension by my words, I was confused by such a reaction "how did you know what kind of car we were going to arrive in?" 

"Oh," Brother sighed relief " Sandra called dad and describe him the car so I gave orders to my men to not approach a car with that description and to not mind link me we wanted it to be a surprise" his smile was cheeky.

So it was my brother and not dad who gave the order figures he is the alpha After all " Wait you told them not to mind link you!"

he jumped back Kim chuckled "ye-yes"

"Kim are you sure you want this " I pointed at him " as you mate?"

she looked offended by my comment " OF COURSE!" and as quickly as she responded she turned beet red.

before I could respond there was a light knock and the doorknob twisted " Alpha" a voice called out and a silhouette came into view three pairs of eyes were on me as I stare a the boy as he stared back at me he looked familiar judging by his aura he was the beta. I looked at my brother whose eyes confirmed that I was right.

"This is my Beta" brother said 

Kim and Anna had the same confused expression I had this... was not George. "Huh?"

"Diego" dad called out " from the beginning" 

His beta looked at me and quickly looks away angering Kim 

"This is what we wanted to speak to you about" Brother went to seat down and looked at Kim who came to my side he pouted a bit "this is Will my beta and-"

"Alpha please allow me to" my Brother nod permitting him,  Will turn to look at me lasting while he looked surprised his gaze was intently looking at me Anna coughed getting his attention back " I am Will Carrillo" and looked away once more.

I felt the girls stiffen but I was more surprised than anything.

"I am George's younger brother" he scrunched his face " first of all for my brother's actions I deeply apologize what he did was something dumb, immature, and quite frankly stupid our parent's since young had educated us to love and cherish our other halves yet what my brother did" he balled up his hands into fists  "has no name I am not asking for understanding nor an excuse for him I am aware of what pain he caused you and on behalf of him I am sorry and if you wish to punish anyone please punish me"

I held no emotion on my face even though I was glad that Diego had someone like this as his beta instead of George " I thank you for offering me your apology but who should apologize is not you" he stiffened" who should bear the punishment is not you, who did the mistake was not you and who should not feel embarrassed to look me in the eyes is certainly not you" 

he quickly looked at me shocked " Wh..what?" his lip quiver his been holding up a lot is evident.

I smiled " when you came in I noticed you avert your eyes when you see me, you aren't at fault you may be his brother but that doesn't mean it's your responsibility, then it will mean if my brother does something unthinkable does that mean I have to bear the responsibility for something he was fully aware of?"

"No," he said and brother nodded in agreement crossing his arms looking proudly at me " it shouldn't be"

"because is not" I chuckle " I do admire you though"

"me? but for what?" his voice was full of resentment but that feeling was not directed at me. 

"You still don't see it," I walked towards him " you are my age but you think better than your older brother you know your principles and follow them wholeheartedly you shoulder something that is not yours to shoulder but does so anyway if you ask me that is something to admire"

" it's true" dad commented 

He looked at me, finally looking at me and I could see the guilt, the embarrassment fading away making me smile warmly " see" 

I was pulled back alarming m  I tried to open my eyes but all I saw was black judging by the build of the body and the scent of lemongrass " dphad" (dad) I was been squashed 

"Stay away from my pup!" his chest vibrated in a low warning growled 

I couldn't breathe I wanted to get out of his hold but then dad will be left grunting in pain.

"DAD!

"ASU!" 

I was yanked free from his arms finally catching my breath I gasped coughing Anna was in front of me while Kim had me in her arms carrying me to the sofa I coughed more.

"OOPS" dad looked pained to see them protecting me against them and for hurting me

"Asu are you okay?" Kim was worried she had never seen me struggle that way before

I nodded " I am fine I just didn't want to hurt him so I struggled to try to breathe and get out"

her mouth did a perfect O understanding it. 

"Hurt me?"

"hurt him?" 

Anna smirked "people really underestimate you" she mind link us 

"Are you okay?" Dad looked over concerned 

"yeah I am fine"

Kim laughed and I smiled "anyways.. back to what I was saying"

I straighten " is normal for them to react that way their wolfs seem to need to be close to me is their calling" Will looked at us with confusion "make sure to inform him what is going on later"

My brother turned to look at me and nod but dad looked at Liam and Will glaring at him " so you accept him as my beta"

"brother, he is your beta, not mine as long as you trust him then alright" I shrugged but was still curious about something " why is Will your Beta?" 

they all became immobilized I sensed something wrong brother came to me and sat in front of me grabbing both my hands and his eyes there were manager and agony mixed, " brother what happen?" 

he closed his eyes trying to see if he could avoid the topic or at least not look like dread right now but it didn't work Kim was also alarmed automatically reaching out for him his eyes flash open and looked at her with a smile and turned to me " Asu" even his voice was hard " the reason why Will became my Beta was that George did the unthinkable betraying the pack morals and the sacred bond between mates"

I felt even more confused than before frowning at him " I am sorry brother but you need to be clearer" mates? did he found another one? well, that was interesting... I hope that this time he can actually value her.

"Honey" dad came forward " he got another she-wolf..."

"He impregnated another she-wolf" Brother finished coldly

Liam looked away with a painful expression and Will looked down ashamed Anna and Kim remained still to others that may seem calm but I knew better they were holding back from going to rip him apart I didn't understand. 

"who was it?" Anna asked camly 

"A she-wolf named Vanessa" Liam replied to her but never met her eyes 

brother looked at me with pain " I still don't get it"

they all looked at me with the same expression " Asu" Anna came forward " he got his title removed because-

"No" I shook my head I needed to clarify this " why do you all have the expressions of someone who will be deeply hurt by this?" 

that made them react Liam and Will took a step forward in disbelief.

" because he is your mate," dad came forward " I can't imagine how painful all this feels or how it felt if I could I would go right there and-"

"my mate?" godmother didn't tell them then I sighed " I have no mate the moment I transformed the bond between him and I was severe we are no longer mates that's why I don't understand your expressions I am not going to cry out for that, on the contrary, he liked her no? then we can call it fate" I shrugged all them calm down and breathed out a sighed of relief 

"so you are saying you are no longer affected by him?" my brother looked anxious 

I let out a small chuckle " No, so please don't look at me like I will burst into painful cries, it feels weird"

they laughed " good then" he kissed me on the forehead 

"How did that happen?" Will asked astonished 

"er.. I'll tell you later" brother scratched his head and frowning at how much he will explain and Will nod

"How did this happen though?" I was curious they didn't seem like the type to settle, ever.

"My brother, been the i***t he is got drunk three months ago and Vanessa that" he held his words bit his lower lip and let out a heavy sighed he was trying to quell his anger " took advantage of his state and well the consequences are this" 

" so his title was removed " Liam finished for him sensing how uncomfortable this was for him.

" it doesn't matter now even if he isn't Asu's mate he did disregard that bond and impregnated a she-wolf who wasn't his mate if she ever finds her own mate that will cause a problem for this pack" Kim spoke like a true Luna and brother turn to look at her proudly and puppy eyes on full blast.

" Been the Beta of this pack he is supposed to set an example but failed to do so it seems like he has not matured in these two years" I spoke coldly 

" My brother he has been suffering for what he did to you Asu" Will defended his brother 

" that's not an excuse is it Asu's fault then that he got into this mess?" Anna said angrily 

"No, I am not saying that" Will looked at her with a hard gaze 

"Will" Liam warned 

"Anna" my voice came out hard and she looked at me then looked away crossing her arms angrily 

" He made a mistake there is no excuse he needs to oversee his punishment, Will you are the new Beta and as so you will act like one, your bother's actions can't be justify understand that and respect Kim who is your future Luna" Will looked at him shocked " and Anna who is her sister she is right this could cause a problem in the future it matters not whose fault it is we are in deep s**t and don't ever try to blame my sister for his stupidities, she is no longer his mate do you understand?" Brother used his alpha voice 

"Yes alpha" Will bowed and looked calmer "I apologize, Luna and Anna, Asu"

I was looking at Anna who was stubbornly looking away and sighed I appreciate what she did but getting angry wasn't the way. 

" What Diego said is right you are the new Beta act like one, I will not be held responsible for his actions did I point a gun at him and threaten him to waste away and sleep with that hoe? No so Will with all due respect he may be your brother but do not ever dare blame me for his mistakes do you understand? it will be like blaming your mother for giving birth to such a son" my voice was harsh Celene was also pissed wanting to claw her way out Liam look down and brother cower back dad had hard eyes on Will.

Will growled and was shut down by the others his eyes widen with shock at what he had done " I am sorry" he inclined his head towards me 

" I wish to speak to my dad and brother alone if you guys don't mind" I spoke irritate about all of this.

dad who looked like this was not only tiring him but also close to teach Will a lesson brighten up and so did brother but his eyes went to Kim immediately

"If you want if not then," I said getting ready to leave annoyed but not towards brother or Kim.

"NO!" Brother stopped me I hold in the smile I like teasing him and sat back Kim shot me a wicked smile "Liam, Will can you guys make sure no one comes in while also keeping  eye on Kim and Anna" 

they both looked insulted "EXCU-"

here we go again I got up and grabbed them both by the collars dragging them out all they saw in amazement as they kept trashing trying to get out of my hold I sat them on the sofa and pass them the remote " be good and stay here okay?"

they pouted and refrain from speaking I was ticked I could feel my vain pop " Okay" I smiled this time 

their eyes went wide and looked at me quickly and nodded quickly as well 

I went back to my seat annoyed and looked at the other's who bump into each other trying to get out " so now we shall speak"

Diego P.O.V

I was scared at the begging of how Asu will react but it took me by complete surprise at how calm she took in everything I felt immense relief she no longer was mated to that son of a... one good thing it came out of this I almost killed him when I found out about this I beat him up to pulp thinking of the suffering my baby sister must have felt with this infidelity that I ended up sending him to the pack hospital. I felt no guilt whatsoever, I would gladly do it again.

we all saw how she dragged my mate away who I am not going to lie I wanted to growl for her disrespect but my wolf thought otherwise while also grabbing Anna by the collars and sat them on the sofa giving them a smile that made them tensed up, to be honest, it amazed me to see her this way the air around her was completely different and she was no longer fragile-looking judging by the strength she used and how her face now looks healthy I was proud of her dad was too as he watched her coming back looking more than annoyed and sat down waiting for the other's to leave. 

"So now we shall speak" her voice was laced with anger dad shot me a glance with worry did she wished to know the truth?

 I tensed up and looked at her " about what?" I managed to say without any disturbance. 

she stood silent for a while deep in thought her mouth into a small pout it would have been cute if she wasn't making us worry more " I think it's time I tell you where I was before coming back to my body" 

I sat up straight and dad took his seat and waited anxiously since Asu came to us I always wonder why she had the manner of speech she has and how she doesn't like people helping her.

"I lived in Chicago" she revealed dad looked at me confused, what? " you could say it was like a parallel world"

Oh, but still the possibility of that existing was mindblowing if Asu wasn't sole proof of that I wouldn't believe it. 

her face showed no emotion as she spoke her eyes wander to a far place was she feeling nostalgic? did she longed for her old home  " I was born into a rich family the sole heiress to a fashion empire I was surrounded by many people"

Oh, there was a pain in my chest I looked down at my hands, so she was loved there too maybe that's why she was distant with us, after all for her we are... strangers, just think about this made my heart sting. 

" if you could call them that way" her voice changed I looked at her and saw anger flash in her eyes " they were vultures trying to see what they could get out of me, my parents were no different"

I heard dad growled and I couldn't hold back my own that was a hard blow on us " did they do something to you?" 

she stood silent without looking at us but we saw an emotion flashed on her face and quickly dissipated " from the moment In was born I was never loved," her voice was small on the last part filling me up with rage " they were my parents in name only I never felt any love towards them either"

I looked over at dad who looks like he was holding on to his composure 

" I was raised most finely but never loved by any of them yet when they were killed it still pain me" her face showed sadness and her voice turned softer 

I looked at her wide " ki-kill-

"Killed?!" dad exclaimed slamming his hands on the handles of the chair not phasing her.

she gave us a slight nod " been born in that family of vultures was not a good thing my birth anger one of my relatives who always had an eye for the position for their dearest daughter in anger they killed my parents and I took over very young  but not everything was bad in that cold mansion" 

I frowned displeased wouldn't caught it " what?" I was angry how can it not when they didn't even love her! when she lived with killers! having to watch her back all the time!

her face soften and smiled " the staff there was my family" she laugh softly.

another stabbing pain in my heart dad looked away from her hurt as well my baby sister had to go through s**t in that place all alone. 

" I was always aware that I didn't belong to that world and since I could remember the moon goddess came to me" she kept on going I stiffen of course she would how can she not " she trained me up to a certain time and ask me to keep on training on my own for I would end up needing it I thought it was because of the kind of family I had but it turned out to be for a completely different thing, she then disappeared I was 15 when she reaper in my life"

"15?" I asked confused by the number 

" yep I was a year younger there, she then informed that it was time for me to returned to where I belong but before that, I had to take care of something" her soft expression vanished and turned dark " she  walked to the window opening the shades dust flew everywhere and the sun rays enter the office giving it light" even if I harbor no love for my parents and they didn't either they still raised me and I had to avenge their death"

I stiffen not liking where this was leading to " please don't tell me" I pleaded as pain seeped into my bones 

" I was killed as well" her voice distant I got up and slammed my hand on the desk hearing a loud crack dad turned angrily tears overflowing his eyes " it was winter there too" she reached out her hand to the window as if to reach for something the unimaginable pain I felt had no words to be describe as " they planned to take over the companies once I was dead but they never imagine I was already informed of their plan and while I laid dying they revealed the truth sealing their fate I had the joy to inform them that they will be going to jail while the rest of that disgusting family will lose all their assets the will stipulated that if I were to die before the age of 18 and not from natural causes all the companies assets will be left to charity I heard their screams of anger and agony as they were taken I wasn't aware of who the moon goddess was until I drew my last breath" 

tears splattered into the shattered desk and I began to shake sobbing quietly " Ho-how did you die?" 

she didn't respond I looked up at her and she was watching straight into the forest I saw her shiver for a moment her reflection from the window was full of pain. 

"HOW DID YOU DIE!" we both yelled 

she flinched I came to regret my actions but I was angry I wanted to tear those bastards down limb from limb as we skin them alive " I was hit by an oncoming car the breaks from the car I was driving were tampered with so I couldn't stop it and was thrown out the car send flying to pavement while the shatter glass was sink deep into my skin while my warm blood was..."

my body shook my heart began to break I let myself fall on the chair letting the tears escape my eyes and a loud thud came from my dad's side too this was too much for him as well the suffering that my sister had to go through was unbearable. Just how did she feel when her body was drainng from blood? her bones where most likely broken from the impact while she laid in the cold hard pavement. 

"My name there was Aylin" she continued sounding lighter was she trying to lessen the pain we were feeling in this moment? was she this selfess? " I don't regret it the pain I felt back then I would gladly feel it once more if it meant meeting you both again" there was a woosh from the air 

her words made look at her and saw her standing there facing us with a bright loving smile her eyes wet as tears ran down her flushed pink cheeks it took us less than a second to go and hug her crying like children and forgetting our positions, this time I will protect you, baby sister.
