Asu P.O.V

" Asu-"

"Brother," my voice was hard even though it wasn't my intention for it to be like that " I will like to be the one to ask the questions for now if that is alright with all of you"

his gaze turned serious he didn't like been order around because is part of our blood but complied with my decision he nodded and kept his eyes on us mostly Kim.

" how has the pack reacted to the change in you two?" I asked raising an eyebrow. 

" they don't see anything weird really" Liam was the one to speak understanding my question " the pack doesn't question anything regarding their youthful look for they sensed no malice in it they have seen Sandra come and go and figure she might be behind all of this "

" do you know anything?" Anna questioned him suspiciously 

"Mom was here?" I felt Kim's uneasiness 

"knowing her it's possible as to why well"  I smirk 

" About?" he asked puzzled cutting our conversation short 

Anna turned to me that was enough to answer her question.

" Don't really see us any different Asu, but the other packs some of them did but after they noticed it wasn't due to dark magic they drop it." 

" although it would have also been intimidation" Kim spoke her eyes were looking far off " from what I know your pack is the strongest pack in America they will be stupid if they decide to fight a pack such as this no one can stand an attack like..." 

I grabbed her hand giving it a small squeeze " if you have treaties with them then that will explain as to why they won't attack"

brother's eyes were on his mate he was itching to come forward and console whatever made her feel this way  

"you know about treaties?" Dad questioned shocked and amused 

I grimace remembering my training and I wasn't the o only one to remember the three of us shiver at the thought 

"man she was ruthless" Kim pouted 

" tell me about it " 

when Anna joined she had to go through the same teaching we went through godmother was very strict with her teachings if you didn't pay attention or get an answer wrong she will make sure you remember it or she will make us literally climb a mountain if we slack off or get something wrong it sounds easy been a hybrid wolf and all but I wasn't allowed to use my strength for it nor was Anna either but I think the one that had it worse was Kim her body was basically human without the use of my blood in her veins plus the mountains it tends to get colder, even so, thanks to that she became strong and to make sure it didn't happen again she will drill it into our heads upon waking up, or randomly in the afternoon or even when fighting with her spontaneous pop quizzes. 

"Girls?" dad questioned about to move and check us 

" hmm?" I shiver a bit " we are okay don't worry"

"Are you sure if you want we can keep talking after you guys rest it must have been a long trip" his eyes were full of concern 

" We are okay" Kim smiled, of course, weren't the trip wasn't far only the driving although with this damn prank it did sort of tired me out 

" alright but if you do tell us okay" he smiled 

we nodded " Kim close the windows please," I think it's about time.

"yes" she waved her hands and everything closed off the guys tense up.

" Does he know?" I ask dad this time

he smiled and shook his head " I figure you wish to be the one to tell them"

The girls grabbed my hands and shook their heads they were cautious even if Kim was mated to my brother who happens to the alpha of this pack as a guardian it's her duty to protect my secret regardless of who it is but it was also more than that.

"You don't have to feel so guarded you know" Diego gave her a smile that tried to hide the fact that he was hurt Kim flinched.

" It is not their fault" I whisper I wanted to tell them why they were like this but I couldn't " it's..."

"Asu?" dad questioned worry in his voice 

" anyways, did this change happen when I left?" I knew their answer but I needed to confirm it 

"yes, that's right on the day of your birthday we changed" Diego affirmed to me 

" I am sorry" Liam suddenly said frowning as he tried to keep up " I don't get what is going here" but he ended up getting frustrated with all of this " why are you all been so secretive?"

I reached for my wig when Anna grabbed my hand " are you sure we can trust them?" 

I turned to her giving her a warm smile and nodded " yes" 

slowly her frown disappear releasing my hand " then"

"because my sister is"

"I am"

I got up walking to the middle of the room while taking off my wig and contacts, the second Celene and I undo the masking of our scent immense relief filled us with bliss, masking our scent was like living inside a shell not been able to see the clear light or breath fresh air and unmasking it gave us that comfort, the twinkling sensation of eyes was something I haven't gotten used to yet, I heard a loud gasp and chairs' that topple over.

"The royal blue hybrid wolf" dad finished I turned to face him what?

I felt the girls go rigid, have they forgotten the whole name, or perhaps, I glanced over at dad whose chair was on the floor and eyes wide staring straight at me with a smile on his face and not a trace of lying...

putting that aside, for now, turning my attention to Liam who I would say look shocked but that wouldn't cover it, his face was showing too many emotions to describe, but there was one I knew well that was longing. 

his eyes quickly turned black and I felt the presence of his wolf, Kim, and Anna quickly stood next to me promoting my brother to come over as well 

"My queen" his voice was animalistic that resonated deep within my soul I held my hand over my heart as he bends one knee " I am sorry for the discourtesy my human has shown you he unlike us doesn't know at first glance we are talking to a holy being and even if we know we can not speak to them about you until you my queen do so, it's an honor to be in your presence along with the others"

"What is your name?" my voice was mixed with Celene's making the sound even more melodic.

his eyes widen then soften " How very rude of me, I am Eric, your highness as for your secret do not worry my human nor I will reveal who you are, please rest assure your secret is safe with us so please accept this vow we pledge our lives to you, my queen" he kissed the top of my hand.

With his words, I felt a snap and a warm breeze wash over me making me stumble a bit 

"sister!" Diego called out as Liam or should I say Eric steady me 

"I am fine" I assured them and smiled patting his head" the pledge has been done, thank you" it was slight but I heard his purr.

" He is fully aware of this my queen so do not worry" he bowed his head a bit 

"may I speak to him?" 

"of course, until next time " his eyes turned his normal shade he remained on one knee without looking at me and Celene also went to the back of my mind " Liam" 

he looked up " your hi-highness I am deeply sorry for my rude attitude earlier to you and to-" he stopped 

"Liam?" brother questioned still edgy " why don't you finish that sentence? "

"because he can't" I replied for him " no need to ask for forgiveness Liam, you had no idea and for that, I do apologize for threatening you earlier when you didn't know"

"There is no need to " he looked down again 

" sister what is going on?" brother questioned and I could feel his wolf trying to surface too 

I took a step back hearing a small whimper leave Liam's mouth their eyes on him " Liam you may rise" and faced Diego " as you know the blue hybrid wolves are ancient beings that you have to learn in school about  I am also sure that the elders hold other documents and are kept safely guarded against everyone expect the alpha and his family of course."

"yes" brother nodded looking thoughtfully "from what I can remember your hair, eyes, and scent are proof that you are a blue hybrid wolf although I do believe there is something more"

I look at him wondering whether he really knew " and that is?"

" that part was never told to us the book that holds the records of our ancestors have been faded an unable to read" dad got up waking to my side " the elder's tried to find a way to bring back those faded words but with no avail so we do not know I am sorry my daughter" 

" that's not your fault dad," I saw him smile with relief and saw his eyes shift to the girls who haven't drop their guard 

" Kim, Anna come" I motioned them forward confidently moving towards me. 

"There is something else" brother was till thinking " a hybrid wolf should have guard..." his eyes snapped to the girls 

"Yes, brother " I confirm him stepping in between the girls and grabbing their hands " your mate is one of my guardians" with the sudden news he froze, Kim became rigid but remain standing straight I knew brother wouldn't reject her he was different but she didn't know that... 

his expression change and bog smile showed up on his face picking her up " DAMN MY GIRL IS A GUARDIAN!!" his voice boomed 

I was left dumbstruck and apparently not the only one.

"Diego put me down!" she yelled and giggled as he spun her two more times before putting her down smiling " my name is Kimberly Char, I met Asu when she was in Chamonix, my native language is french, as you can tell I am a witch and also the first guardian of Asu, I am the daughter of Sandra who is the godmother of Asu and-"

"she married?" Dad was shocked  by the news 

Kim's eyes sadden but remain firm, " No, she is the adoptive daughter, but that is something she will tell you when she feels ready to do so"

he tried to understand my words but fail to do so " if that is what you want then alright" 

I smiled and turned to Kim encouraging her to keep going.

" Been her guardian means that I can fight the mate bond whenever I wish to" she was talking to us but her eyes were firmly on Diego " for example if you tell me to leave Asu for any reason or ask me to stay behind I will not listen to you my priority is her, and will always be here, for her command is above our bond, it matters not if you are my mate or cherish family member if we sense any harm on her we will react to protect her from anything that could bring any harm to her presence" she informed them I could see hurt in his eyes but she never waiver that is the hard truth of been my guardian if they so wish they could fight the pull as much as they want 

" so that's why" he gave her a small smile and it was evident her words pierced him " is that true?"

"it is" I confirmed it " but she isn't fighting it so do not worry it is only whenever she feels like danger is nearby, be my guardian means that she is bound to me it works like a mate bond she feels what I feel and can communicate through mind-link as well so do not fret brother"

with that, he relaxed and hugged her tightly kissing her forehead.

"how is that she became your guardian?" dad questioned curiously 

I look at Kim who looked down " that... I can not say right now"

there was silence as the mood turned down.

"Anna " I called her she took a step forward 

" I am Anna Rowell, I met Asu and Kim in Mount Rainier, as you know I am a vampire and her second guardian" she introduces herself 

"Anna" dad smiled " welcome" 

she smiled slightly and returned to me holding on to my cloak I look over to Kim who wanted her to continue her introduction and saw her eyes clouding over 

" guardians are" dad began I snap my fingers instantly grabbing their attention giving a warning glare" are said to hold great admiration and are held with the same respect as the blue hybrid wolf in other words Kim is your Beta and Anna your gamma, Asu is above any Alpha, any magical creature really and the guardians are above every Beta's and Gamma's and even alpha's are bound to respect them" 

"Let's not forget that they are even greater existence than the royal family" Liam spoke as he was immersed in deep thought having his index finger under his chin as he looked at us 

"even the council" Brother added 

"Well isn't the council made up of 'normal' Alpha's? Kim questioned 

"Er.. yes but-"

"Brother, aren't you part of the council?" I sighed I knew why he was surprised Kim and Anna shouldn't be aware of any of this one belonging to the witches clan while the other to the vampire coven 

"No," he said firmly and his eyes turned dark 

I glanced over at father who only gave a smile "is there a reason for that no?" I was sure he will part of it seeing as how only strong packs can be part of the council it caught me off guard. 

" I have received an invitation to be part of it but refused profoundly to be part of it, every damn alpha that is part of that council is nothing more than just arrogant beats that dwindle their time with unnecessary talk whose mate is better and whose does it-

"Diego that is enough your sister doesn't need to hear such things" dad spoke this time he was angry as he shut down my brother's words it didn't take a genius to figure out what he was going to say

" in other words, they are s*x drive gloating bastards," I said out loud only to receive in return three growls and one hiss and glare from Kim " I am not stupid dad" 

he shook my head at my nonchalant attitude.

"if the council does nothing useful then why hasn't the king acted?" I questioned the authority of the king it has never phased me like other wolves should, usually when a wolve speaks ill of the royal family they will feel a sting of guilt and flinched away but it has never done such a thing for me I always wondered why until today my question answered today and that is because of who I am. 

" the king suspects of this but can't act without sufficient evidence every time he comes in they'll quickly change subjects he has to put his son to the task to look into it so we only hope that he will act on it soon," Brother said avoiding where he left off Kim began to soothe him by placing herself close to him.

"anyways that aside when you say that Asu was above the royal family how exactly?" Anna spoke her voice came out fluently no trace of shyness or caution 

" well think about it from a human point of the way" dad began Ah!

" I get it" I look at Anna " in other words if we're humans and still lived in decades past I will be considered the empress who is above the kings" 

"Oh!" she shook her head understanding 

"exactly!" dad clapped his hands 

We were listening carefully at his words " their guardians are said to be terrifying when their master is in great peril," I heard a loud gulp coming from Diego's direction and saw that he tighten his hold on Kim whose eyes gave a mischievous shine to dad's words.

"you heard him" I smirk at him who shot me a glare getting a light smack on his chest from Kim 

"OW!" he whined or so I thought it was small even I heard it.

I shook my head he never learns and repeated dad's words from before " Honor you say" 

"Asu" Anna warned " please"

"honey?" dad questioned his gaze held a bothered expression.

" no, nothing" I grumble 

"hmm" he was suspicious, he knew that something was indeed bothering me but didn't pry on the subject.

"And because we have that connection it will be vice versa I will also feel protective of them that's the reason why I threaten Liam earlier " I explained pointing towards him 

"well that explains" brother smirk 

Now that is over I think it time to tell them about Anna "Anna can-"

I stopped mid-sentence seeing how Kim and Anna's eyes were clouded sensing both their irritation with one another  " ARGH! " I said making everyone jump " enough if neither of you will say I will" 

"No" Anna voiced out 

"Well too late for that, you had your chance " I felt her cling to my cloak 

"what's wrong?" dad looked between us 

" Anna-" I felt a thug on my side " fine go ahead" 

she stepped forward slowly letting go of my cloak glancing briefly at Kim who smiled and nodded encouraging her I tapped her shoulder " I did not mention this before for caution but seen how you accepted me despite being a vampire I need to be completely honest"

there was tension in the air with the tone of her voice they prepared for the worst 

" I am also Sandra's daughter" she revealed and everyone stopped breathing 

"In other words dear brother," I stood next to Anna grabbing her hand to comfort her  "she is Kim's sister, your sister-in-law"
