4 Months Later... First friend.

Asu P.O.V 

"This is the second time" Celene roared with laughter

"I'll make sure to get him back" I promised to her   

I forcibly looked inside the bag again with a puzzled look, how in the world did they even do this?

Diego P.O.V

I waited for Liam my future gamma to finish his training a thought came to mind when Asu went to hug us I smiled.

"who will die? "Liam raised his eyebrow as he came walking to where I was seating 

"No one" I replied happily not letting him ruin my mood 

"then please Mr. future alpha do enlighten this poor warrior and tell me what has gotten you in such a state?" Liam's sarcastic speech made me roll my eyes

"You know Liam if you weren't my best friend I would have killed you already for disrespecting me" I threaten with a smile 

He gulped loudly to my satisfaction.

"good, now back to your question it was nothing," I said remembering the moment when Alex had exchanged the bag Asu was carrying with an identical one that dad and Alex prepared in advance knowing how overprotective dad was I figured he would have done it differently up front instead of sneaky. Although I had to admit even if had been a few hours since we had seen her we instantly figure out she wouldn't have taken it even if she needed it, so it was the only option they had left, it was necessary for her safety and Sandra's as well they were going off to who knows where empty-handed and that drove all three of us insane and placing a good amount of cash in the bag seemed logical better to be safe than sorry, Asu was young and doesn't know anyone or anything from the outside world, having never left the pack complicated her view on things defenseless and new to this world we needed to keep her safe part of it was dad's and my fault we wanted her to be out of the public eye as far as the humans knew she was born into an important family that was well known for their companies but he face was never revealed the press knew I had a younger sibling and knew better than to be snooping around for her information. She didn't know anything about handling a business and of course, she could get a job yeah true but we didn't want her to work as a waitress or cashier when she was the daughter of Alpha Mathew! hell no. No sister of mine was going to be working under someone for all I know he could be an angry asshole or creepy bastard, dad and Alex had the same worry so to feel better the money was given to her, although to be fair it was never meant to be secretly given to her originally he was going to send it to Sandra when Beta Alex saw an opportunity he made the switch, Will she get mad. yes, she will, but it's for her safety. plus like that, no bastard will harm again.

"Dude if you keep glaring like that that poor omega will cry" Liam smack my shoulder 

"huh?" I noticed a young omega boy petrify a few steps away from me " SORRY BUDDY YOU CAN GO!" 

he sighed in relief and made a run for it. 

Liam whistled as he looked at the boy's dust trail " you know if you do that during practice I can guarantee the warriors will learn the new moves in a matter of seconds I mean look at that dust trail that he left! and if you ask me those guys need it some slack off when you and I are not there and that guy he is an omega I am impressed RESPECT MAN!" he yelled with a proud smile on his face " I wish they could also train"

I chuckled while shaking my head Liam was a good gamma, warrior wise and mentally, he didn't see any difference between omega's or wolfs he should have been my beta, not George that son of a flame he wasn't worthy of being a beta nor my friend, but Liam refuses to be given that position he prefers his position as a gamma.

"oh," he turns quickly turns to look at me with a teasing smile " she will be pissed," Liam said amused, this damn bastard and his teasing, never mind I take it back. I knew we shouldn't have left him to follow her. 

Liam was the one who made sure Asu got safely to where Sandra was waiting for her, he's an expert in following and tracking, he doesn't know the real reason as to why she left or who she is he assumed it had to do with George's rejection that he also found out when we were talking with Asu before she left, and it took me a whole freaking hour to calm him down, I felt sympathy for Asu with calming two stubborn Alpha's. Ever since I could remember Liam became her shadow whenever he didn't have training he will always follow Asu I couldn't blame him though I knew he was drawn to her like everyone here is she technically is a magnet, even when Celene was in her place but like a magnet, she attracted good and bad intentions,  the pack members have noticed her absence and seemed to be in low spirits due to it and  Liam here is no exception he grew fond of her and will always mind link me once he saw her getting bullied.

"You seem to be in a mood for fighting Liam, keep it up" I patted his shoulder putting every once of my strength in it.

he winced and rubbed his shoulder while giving me a nervous laugh.

"come to think of it Liam," I said, " why did you always mind link me whenever Asu was in trouble?"

Horror and confusion flashed on his face " weren't I supposed to?"

Replaying what I said I facepalm me " Dude I didn't mean that way I am glad no, I am grateful for what you did but it just crossed my mind that you could have also stepped in when you saw it happen but you didn't why?"

"Oh!" he said relief 

I shook my head taking a bite of my apple his face turned and watched him turn serious

 "I was never closed to her I am nothing but a stranger to her imagine me" he waved his hands up and down " coming near her instead of her feeling relief and safe she would have been terrified and she must've thought I was getting there to hit her"

He was right if I had been her and saw this massive guy coming to me I would have run away. Liam had a very good build and tall too and for small Asu even I looked monstrous.

"Plus wouldn't she prefer her big brother to come to the rescue instead of someone she doesn't have a clue of who he is?" he flashed me a forced smile but his tone was smeared with jealousy.

"Liam," I said through my teeth I could feel Xavier fighting for control " you aren't in love with my baby sister are you?!"

Asu P.O.V

"So what will you be doing with this money?" godmother popped a piece of stake onto her mouth

" I don't know for now you can keep it hidden" I closed the zipper and pushed the bag to her.

"If that is what you wish for " she snapped her fingers

"Are you sure there aren't any witch clans around?" I looked around the woods

"No, at least not that I am aware of " she affirmed me.

Hmm, then why do I feel like there is. Odd

"Shall we begin?" she snapped me away from my thought

"yes" I faced her

"Control is the easiest word to say but is the most difficult thing to do" she paced around " right now you are unconsciously using your power when you touch the water and that is what we need to prevent or you won't be able to shower without the help of Celene"

I blushed " yeah I sort off... yes"

She chuckled " you will need to do a breathing exercise to control your emotions it's your anxiety and nerves that make you lose control no matter how fast you think you adapted to your new world part of you still hasn't and that's when the power surges preventing that will be the most complicated part. No, I lied been the last of your kind we still don't know how many powers you carry and that place's us in a tight spot they can pop anywhere and in any form"

Even though she was here to help me train and even with her power's she can't do anything until they manifest, 

"But on the bright side  I won't need to teach you how to fight" she scanned my body and nodded proudly giving me thumbs up " I have a feeling you already know that"

Her eyes rested on my abs that were visible under the light fabric of my crop top " where I came from wasn't exactly easy" my words were harsh " I needed a way to protect myself if needed it was a suggestion from the moon goddess  she was the one who pushed me to, she also was the first one to teach me a few basics of fighting until she couldn't anymore" 

her eyes shifted " may I know what did you learn?"

I looked at her " hand to hand combat, archery and I know my way with guns as well" I revealed to her she was the first person to know, I saw her eyes go wide with amazement 

"That's perfect! " she clapped her hands together "All alright now that is out of the to-do list all we have is  fighting with your wolf and luckily for you my dear sweet, I will be the one to teach you that"

" you know how?" I tried asking without implying any harm.

she smirked" of course if I was going to be teaching my sweet precious goddaughter I needed to know how to do it right so I had my fair share of the experiences in your father's pack" she grinned wickedly.

'Oh no' my mind was black and only those words rang through my empty head. Poor dad.Poor pack members.

" But before we can get to that you need to control that power or you could make me into a living diamond by mistake, I like diamonds but been inclosed in one isn't really my fetish " she  wrinkled her nose and shook the thought out of her head

I muffled a laugh

she then looked lost in thought and her eyes flickered to the room window I knew what was coming" those vines why didn't..."

I crossed my arms I had expected this to pop " they are poison" her eyes went wide.

" the VINES?!" she screamed in alarm

"not the vines itself but what is growing from it" I clarified forming a circle with my hands mocking the blooms.

" What?!" she yelled again this time louder ringing through the forest I was impressed " you mean to say that beautiful my goddess..."

" Only my kind can do that" I looked at a near tree trunk and touched it godmother watched carefully as beautiful deep blue roses began to sprout and bloom " I will also need to control that" 

She gasped at how rapid they grew and bloomed.

"my royal symbol, beautiful isn't it?" I lightly touched a petal of one of the roses 

" yes," she said breathlessly and dazed she was lost in its beauty she is forgetting my warning already. 

" but deadly," I reminded her and placed myself in front of them covering them from view " to wolfs, witch's and vampires when touched or consumed" 

She froze her eyes now back to normal and I saw the color of her face drain.

"is easy to lose yourself when you see them they are so captivating that it rails you in but you need to remember that this is poison when not handle properly do not let their beauty distract you" I warned again.

she nodded this time it looked like she got it. 

"Also" I plucked one instantly deforming and turning into diamonds.

"Is it safe?" she asked no longer frozen and no longer daze by them.

"As long as you touched them with gloves should be okay they react like silver even if you are a witch it will have the same reaction as it does when a wolf when it comes into contact with silver" I juggle the diamonds.

" Can I have all those?" she pointed at the rest of the roses her eyes were clearly excited and no greed nor malicious intent in them.

my eyebrow furrow " sure, but why?"

She flashed a smirk " that is a surprise" 

I looked at her curiously, and plucked the rest turning to her already fully gloved hands " be careful, godmother" 

"Always my dear" she wrapped them in a blue cloth snapping her fingers and disappearing from view. 

She placed her hands on her hips " Now that that's clear which by the way would have been wiser to know in the morning than now you have no idea how hard it was to get out of your room and not touch one" she gave a glare 

"Sorry" I flashed her my most innocent smile.

She sighed defeated " seriously you will be the death of your mate" she groaned " let's just start with this you little monster," she said pretending to sound annoyed but fail when she looked at my smiling face and laughed "I won't hold back"

I smiled pleased " Oh you better not" taking a step forward " I hope you don't"

Her face then turned serious as I took a stance.

***** 4 MONTHS LATER.....

Asu P.O.V

Like my godmother warned me she never took it easy during my training but even so she helped me push my limits farther than before sharpening my senses even more and making my moves swifter and graceful even when I am in human form my walking is different Celene never felt any better than now all these years that she had her senses blocked had piled a good amount of stress on her that she didn't notice not even in our first shift now that is clear out her senses would go beyond that of a normal alpha wolf. The first time we shifted it was indeed hard for both of us wasn't all too bad the connection we already had become stronger at that moment then again having her senses restricted played a major factor in it after two month's we got better it was now easy as breathing but when it came to shifting with our Lycan form, now that's the worst part it required a serious amount of time, patience, and concentration to do so, to shift between wolf and the Lycan form I had to be back into my human form after sharpening my moves I can now shift while I am a wolf and vice versa my godmother pointed out something I had been failing to see was that my clothing never ripped between shifts she was glad she didn't have to worry about killing anyone who saw her goddaughter naked. 

"That's only for you to see, not even your mate is allowed to!" she said frantically waving her hands in the air 

Now I know what my dad's warriors' had to go through with her training I pity them.

"You outshine your dad and brother " she stood proudly 

training with my abilities had to be placed on hold until the rest manifested if by any chance they did but as time flew by and two months pass since we arrived here and master the rest of skills nothing happen who would have known that a tragedy would've happened. In the months that passed I never tried to contact my dad nor brother mind linking was easy and even though we were miles away our links were perfectly connected, but even so I never once open my link to them I was sure they will ask me to come back soon and I didn't have the heart to tell them that I wasn't planning to return, both Celene and I loved the freedom going back meant to stay hidden again been protected was never my liking I love them both but I couldn't return to that and going back also meant that chances of finding a mate will increase we didn't like that idea Celene had enough been mated to a jackass that she prefers not to play with the fate and be mated to goddess knows who and I so happily obliged to it. We were sure that George had found someone else to mate with but having our bond broken not only meant that I lost my attraction for him but that even if he decided to be with another she-wolf I will never feel it. Instead, of thinking about dad and brother I am engrossed in rigorous training, even after completing it all. 

"Sandra has news my sweet" Kimberly winked as she leaned in the nearest tree 

"Exactly how long have you been standing there?" I raised my eyebrow looking at her shivering body 

"I " she began confidently " just get your ass inside I freezing my buns off here!" she stormed back 

I watch her stomping her way to the cabin it didn't take long before she turned around to see if I was following stopping when she didn't see me move. 

"Are you okay Asu?" her eyebrows furrow and then became alert " is something wrong!?" she looked around 

" No" I look back at the view behind me " just sad"

" You don't want to leave do you?" her voice softens " maybe we should stay I do not want others to see you either what if... alright is decided we will change tactics. SANDRA CHANGE OF PLANS!" 

I chuckled and walked away leaving the view of the morning sun hitting the mountains my favorite view behind me " I can't keep hiding all my life Kim, Celene and I yearn to see more of the outside even if means to leave these" I inhale a deep gush of air letting it out slowly " it's time" 

"têtue," she said in french shaking her head and scrunching her nose, and kept on making her way.

When I met Kim for the first time it wasn't in a good condition but the moment her eyes met mine she instantly became attached to me and me to her. She was a witch we met here in the mountains she was born and raised here, in a matter of seconds we became friends she was the first friend I had ever formed gradually becoming my best friend and that's why I regret what I did to her back then. 

"Girl you better hurry!" she yelled her accent was adorable instead of menacing.

"that girl" Celene sighed 

I sighed as well and made my way to the cabin. 

" Sure took your damn time" She let her self fall gracefully on the sofa

"Ah, good now that you are here" godmother came into view with teacups in a tray.

"Kimberly" I smiled " No" 

she stiffened letting out a small weak laugh " sorry" 

"Is it settled?" I asked godmother without taking my glare from Kim who only became more nervous honestly this girl if she still can't handle my glare then why will she even commence something she can't even win. 

"I honestly don't know why you start a fight you know damn well you won't win" godmother laughed 

Deciding it was enough I turn to my godmother letting Kim relaxed.

"Habit" Kim said moving her stiff shoulders with a pout.

"Whoever is mated to you will have one heck of roller coaster with you" I pointed out taking a sip of tea 

"Haha," she stuck her tongue out at me "What are you talking about I am a heck of a precious price who will kick his mate or not and any other ass!" 

true. godmother and I nodded.

"back to the topic" she reached out for her cup "yes, we will be leaving tonight" She assured me 

"Alright"
