📺 Episode 11 – “Shadows of Yesterday” FADE IN: EXT. EBON HOLLOW – MAIN STREET – MORNING The survivors walk through a strangely quiet town. No birds. No wind. Just the faint echo of ticking. Ivy notices something odd: the shops and houses look… newer than yesterday. Fresh paint. Clean windows. Almost alive. IVY (uneasy) Did the town… fix itself? Mara touches the wall of a house. Warm. Breathing. She yanks her hand back. INT. DINER – DAY The group regroups inside. Ellen sits apart, muttering her son’s name under her breath. Jalen spreads out the map they recovered from the woods. JALEN If the tower’s the heart, then this map— (points) —shows veins. Tunnels under the streets. MARA Escape routes? Jalen nods grimly. Suddenly, Ellen slams her shotgun down. ELLEN You don’t get it. There is no out. We’re mice in a trap. And the trap knows us. The others fall silent. EXT. SUBWAY ENTRANCE – DUSK They find a collapsed subway tunnel hidden behind debris. The entrance smells of rust and rot. IVY (half-joking) Perfect. Creepy basement of hell-town. What could go wrong? They descend with flashlights. INT. SUBWAY TUNNELS – NIGHT The tunnels stretch endlessly, dripping with water. Old posters peel from the walls: “Welcome to Ebon Hollow – Where Time Stands Still!” Their lights flicker. Whispers begin. Familiar voices again. Mara freezes — she sees her father’s silhouette ahead, standing in the tunnel. VOICE (O.S.) Sweetheart. Come home. Jalen pulls her back. JALEN Not real. Keep moving. But the silhouette doesn’t vanish. It follows. INT. SUBWAY STATION – DEEPER The group enters an abandoned station. Benches, rusted tracks, a frozen train car. Inside the car: dried blood. Children’s toys. Ivy swallows hard. IVY This isn’t just a trap. It’s a slaughterhouse. Ellen stares at the blood. Whispers swell — the boy’s voice again. She starts toward the shadows. MARA Ellen—don’t. Too late. A pale hand reaches from the dark, brushing Ellen’s face. Her eyes widen in horror. INT. SUBWAY CHAOS – NIGHT The creatures flood the station, dozens of them, crawling from the walls, from the train, from the shadows. Gunfire. Screams. Flashlights swinging wildly. Jalen blasts one through the head — it only laughs, smiling wider. Mara drags Ivy down onto the tracks. MARA Move! Now! Ellen is grabbed. She screams, disappearing into the swarm. The others fight their way through the chaos, vanishing into the darkness of the tunnel. INT. SUBWAY – CONTINUOUS Mara, Jalen, and Ivy stumble through the dark, bloodied and breathless. Ellen’s screams echo behind them — then silence. Ivy clutches Mara’s arm, shaking. IVY We… we left her. Mara’s face hardens. Tears in her eyes. MARA We didn’t leave her. The town took her. A low bell tolls through the tunnels. Backward. FADE OUT. END OF EPISODE 11 ⚡ Episode 11 raises the stakes: Ellen is lost to the Hollow, the subway reveals the town’s history of slaughter, and escape seems more impossible than ever.
