Chapter 17
"Kate? Are you there?" He asked again and she quickly wiped off her tears, sniffling loudly.
After Kate was sure that she didn't look like she had been crying her eyes out, She opened the door and with a straight face was about to walk past him.
"Kate.." he called softly, holding on to her hands and stopping her.
Unable to take it anymore, Kate turned her face away, embarrassed that Seth had to find her in a state like this.
"It's okay.." He whispered and pulled her into a hug, his hands holding her around her waist while she held him tightly.
For some reason, she felt safe in his arms, she felt comforted, it was almost as if all her problems would get cancelled out once she was with him.. that kind of feeling.
