Arianna's POV
"Hey, where had you been?" I looked up to find Ric waiting near my gate.
"Actually my phone's battery died. I was stuck in the elevator for the whole night" I explained to him.
His eyes widened as he looked at me "Are you alright?"
"I am alright " I assured him as I unlocked my door.
"Were you alone?" he asks as he followed me inside.
"No, Giovanni was with me" I said to him.
"Oh" he mumbled.
"Did you have breakfast?" he inquired.
"From when have you been here?" I asked him as I put my phone to charge.
"This morning. Yesterday after call, I did not receive your call. As you were tired, I thought of not disturbing you. If I had any idea about you being stuck in the elevator, then I would have done something" he looked apologetic.
