Dinner wasn't a bust after all; I got to see Jasper’s mother's reaction when she opened the envelope to find the pictures of her and the lawyer, Thomas. I watched as the pictures slipped from her fingers, and she started to look around frantically.
“What's wrong?” Joy, Jasper’s wife, walks into the room and starts picking up the pictures from the floor.
“ Oh no! Wh-where did you get those?!” she was asking when she saw what they were. She shared the same horrific look that Willa Jasper’s mother had on her face.
“Someone sent them to me not too long ago,” She replies.
