She thought it was weird when the driver did not come to take her bags. Whatever she thought, she could carry her bags herself. When she came out of her room, she noticed that every where was rather too quiet, more quiet than usual. There was this deafening silence that hung in the air. She looked around, there was no one about. Mary had disappeared after serving her breakfast.
