‘ good morning sir’ a chirpy and enthusiastic voice said. It was Lucia , Marcelo’s secretary.
‘ good morning’ he replied curtly.
‘ the files you requested for are on your table. You have a meeting in the next thirty minutes, lunch with Mr……. she suddenly stopped as she saw Elena emerge from behind Marcelo and stand beside him. she was looking at her like she was at the wrong place. And why was she standing so close to her boss like that.
‘excuse me, miss, are you lost?’ she asked her.
‘ she is not. She is with me’ Marcelo interjected almost immediately.
‘ with you?’ lucia blurted out and quickly regreted it.
‘ she is my new assistant PA. she will be helping you out with your work. So please show her around, show her the ropes and how things work around here’ he said.
