The further away they got from the beach house, the more ease Alyssa felt.
She did not like the fact that she was feeling this way about the beach house. It was her escape, her special place.
She was going to get to the root of the problem so she could go back to being comfortable there.
That is what she would do.
“Why are you being so quiet? Are you okay?”
Marcel asked jolting her and bringing her out of her thoughts.
“Hmmmnn? Ohh yeah I am.” She said quickly turning her attention to him.
“You don’t seem that way.” Marcel said looking at her with concern in her face, he turned his attention back to the road and continued saying,
“In fact you have been acting like this since I came back after leaving you alone at the beach.”
