After the class, Alyssa called her mother as she decided to just go back with Devin back to her place.
“Hello, mum.”
“Hey, Lyss. How was school?”
“Eventful!” She replied with so much emphasis and excitement.
“Sounds like you had fun.”
Alyssa chuckled,
“I’ll tell you about it when I get home today.”
“So, what’s the plan? How are you coming back home?”
“I called because of that, I’ll be going to Devin’s place to see her parents before I come back home.”
“Okay, so Devin will bring you back home or?”
“I will just order a ride back home.”
“Okay, just let me know when you do and share your location okay?”
“Okay, mama.”
After the call, she turned to her best friend gave her a cheeky grin and said,
“Let’s go home baby.”
