After the call she had with Marcel she settled in and was ready to call it a night, she closed her eyes for what felt like a few minutes until she heard something.
She opened her eyes but she did not move.
“Mum?”
She called out softly but there was no answer.
She was usually not paranoid or scared of sounds but something about the sound she heard made her restless.
“Mum??”
She called out again, this time her voice rising higher than the last time.
Still no answer.
She was beginning to panic then the place began to shift, changing into another place then suddenly she was at the beach.
She looked around her, what was going on? It was then she realized that she was not in another place.
She was in her room, she was just dreaming. What was she doing here?
Then she woke up
