After Devin was gone, Alyssa turned to Marcel and asked,
“What was that about?”
She was still surprised and wondering what had happened behind her back.
“It’s about me and you. That is what that was about.”
“How?”
“Please can you come with me? I’ll show you.”
“I can not believe Devin ditched me.”
“For a good reason.”
Marcel quickly chipped in,
“And that is?”
“Come along with me let me show you.”
Since she woke up that day, Alyssa already had a feeling that she was going to be spending her day with Marcel.
That was why she had told her father what she had told him when he dropped her off.
He would have to get used to Marcel, for now.
“Okay.”
“Thank Goodness. I was worried begging you was going to take more time.”
