KAYDEN I stared at the man. “What?” “You should learn to mind your business,” the man continued. “Are you trying to play the hero or something? You just explained that he was being punished before you joined in the punishment.” I opened my mouth and then closed it. “Yes, sir.” “So then why were you trying to be a savior? You shouldn’t just involve yourself in things that don't concern you.” I didn’t even know what to say at this point, so I just said nothing. “You can go now, Kayden. I’ll look into it and talk to the necessary people involved,” he finished. Then he turned back to his books, dismissing me. I walked out, shocked and appalled about what just happened there. “Whoa…” I looked around, still stunned. “Did that man just… did he just bluff me?” Turns out Andrew was right.
