Our mates have seen us! Akira yelped and giggled. They’ve finally seen us!
“I don't think we should rejoice yet,” I whispered as I slowly turned towards them. “For now, they can only feel us. What if they recognize us as Kayden?”
Even as I had that thought, it quickly vanished. I don’t look or feel like Kayden. There was nothing that would remind them of Kayden, and as they stared at me from a distance, I could feel it. The true connection of our souls entwined together.
I could see that they had not expected to share one mate, but Akira didn’t care at all. She was just happy to finally be revealed to them, and I was too. Even if I tried to tell myself that I wasn’t doing this for them, I knew very well that I was.
