As I drove back to the apartment, I couldn't stop thinking about Kayden and Alpha Jason or whatever he called himself. I wasn't particularly pleased to see him, and just something about him sets me off.
"Kayden must feel it too if she's so terrified to even look at him," I muttered out loud. "Or don't you think so? Kayden looked so scared of the guy."
Yeah, Baron, my wolf, readily agreed. If she's so skeptical of him, I don't think we should trust him. We need to keep her safe.
"She's our mate and I'm definitely going to protect her," I responded as I drove into the dorm's parking spot. "I'll make sure nothing happens to her until she's ready to reveal herself to us and tell us her secret."
And your brothers? Baron probed. When are you going to tell them about her?
