Kylie’s POV The second day after we left the resort, it felt emptier than I expected. The triplets had gone back to the pack, and I had to go back to Irene’s house. At first, I thought I’d enjoy the quiet. Finally some peace after all the noise and chaos of the past few days, but I was quickly realizing that the days crawled by so slowly. I missed them. Not that I’d ever admit it out loud, but I did. I tried calling, more than once, and each time they’d brush me off, promising to call later. “I’m sorry Kylie but we’re really busy at the moment. We’ll call as soon as were chanced.” But the calls never came. I started to dread calling them, and the next few weeks I spun theories in my head about the possible reason as to why they weren’t speaking to me. “Maybe it’s the Werner girls,”
