I couldn’t stop thinking of the night before. The way the boys had escorted me to where I packed Irene’s car; each of them flanking me at all sides and making sure I was protected before waving me goodbye.
I giggled and turned in my bed. “I better freshen up in case they show up in school today.”
Then I grabbed my shower essentials and bolted for the bathroom. I was back in school and as usual, waiting for the triplets to join me.
