I pushed back against the hand wrapped around my waist and stomped hard on his boot. The huge, thick man cursed and shoved me to the floor. I stumbled and fell hard on my knees and elbows, bruising them.
I gasped for breath as I turned around, desperate to see who my attackers were. The two big men stepped aside, and then I saw the Werner girls. They stood a little off to the side, laughing and giggling.
Andrea flipped her hair back and snickered. “Aw, look at you now. Aren’t you a nasty little thing?”
My eyes roved between the three girls and the two men that stood aside from them, their arms crossed and waiting for orders.
“How dare you come here and disrupt our plans?” Carly snapped at me. “You slimy bastard. Where the hell are you from?”
