The first thing that hit me as soon as I woke up was the headache. My head banged so hard, I groaned and slowly sat up so as not to worsen the situation.
“Shit.”
Moving slowly, I got to the foot of the bed and realized I was not in my room.
Of course I wasn’t in my room, there’s no way it would look as luxurious as this!
“Where am I?”
I searched inward, but Akira was still slumbering away. She couldn’t give me an answer. There was no one around either to give me an answer—not that I could see anything at this point.
I wobbled to the window, ignoring my splitting headache and pushed aside the curtains. The brightness outside nearly blinded me. I stepped back, a little surprised.
“s**t, it’s almost afternoon!”
