I asked, trying to grapple between reality and delusion. The effect of that water was much stronger than I thought.
“What are you talking about… wolfsbane?”
“Yes.” Ryan leaned in, his hands on his knees as he stared at my face. “I know you’re hiding something from me, Kayden. That night at the pool, you knew where that lady went. You lied to me.”
I could feel myself choking and I thought, would I die this way? Why the f**k would he give me a wolfbane?!
