When the alarms sounded that there was a significant number of bodies coming through our territorial perimeter, I thought the infiltration was for war. After the scrap between myself, Axel, and his side mutt, it wouldn’t have been a surprise. I still owed him for that two against one bullshit he pulled.
I met the outsiders at the village entry, flanked by my own troops and Beta. Before anything was said, however, Axel came forward and handed me the scroll of approval from none other than Elder Isaac himself.
