At the Royal college,
Rome city_ Italy.
Esmeralda walked out of the lecture hall as her bag was hung over her shoulder, she was about to make her way to towards the garden but she stopped as she recalled what happened between her and Andrio that day.
Not wanting to meet him there, she turned to leave when she bumped into someone, she stopped in fear thinking it was him but smiled on realising who it was
"Are you okay, young lady"
His voice came again which made her smile increase and her cheeks red
It was the young lad who was nice to her
"I'm primo by name, I'm sorry that I bumped into you, I never intended to, I was only lost in your beauty and charms"
He said and Esmeralda was taken aback
"No one always refer me to as beautiful instead they make fun of my disability, he had even said I had charms, oh my, I think I'm falling in love already"
He chuckled as he noticed the way her cheeks turned red due to his statement along with her broad smile
But the smiled fade away as he wondered why as it was a beautiful sight to behold
"I'm sure when he finds out my inability to talk, he wouldn't want to have anything to do with me, I think I should just leave right now so I wouldn't hurt myself"
She turned wanting to leave
"You know its rude to leave in a middle of a conversation"
He said making her stop but didn't look at him
If she doesn't leave now, then it would be hard for her to leave in the nearest future to come as it its very hard to separate from someone whom she had grown fond of.
"Let me guess, you are walking away because you think if I find out your inability to talk, I would be force to go away from you"
He stated and immediately she turned to meet his gaze
"I'll take your reaction as a yes I'm right, Esmeralda I want to assure you that I won't do that okay, first it wasn't your fault that you turn out this way and the most importantly is that you're beautiful, whoever can't see that needs to visit an optician for an eye checkup"
Her lips grew into a wide smile as she watched him walked towards her
"So friends"
He asked stretching out his hands
She nodded and her hands met with his, he chuckled which made him more handsome in her sight
Unlocking his hands from hers he brought out his phone after receiving a notification beep
"I don't actually attend this college, I'm a graduate who's job is to accompany his boss and he don't usually come often so can I get your number"
He requested
Taking the phone into her hands, she inputted her number
"I'm so glad that you accepted my friendship, I'm happy"
Primo said after she had returned her phone to him
"I'll like to be going back, he has already sent a message across to me, I really do not want to get on his bad side because he can be grumpy at times but I'll chat you okay"
She nodded and with that he turned wanting to leave but he stopped, he walked up to her and place a kiss on her cheek
She stared at him with wide eye as he smirk on seeing her heated cheek
"That's a friendship kiss to seal our friendship"
He said and with that he left leaving a confused Esmeralda who stared at his retreating figure
"I have finally gotten a handsome lad as my friend, this is definitely going into my diary"
Still smiling, she turned to meet Lalisa who had her arms folded
"Don't tell me you have a crush on that guy" Lalisa asked, noticing the way her cheeks was red, she gasped
"you do have a crush on him Esmeralda, you don't need to tell me, its written all over you"
Esmeralda smiled her then flipped her hair to meet with her face
She walked away leaving Lalisa who was taken aback by her attitude
"Did she do flip her hair on me"
Lalisa muttered with a smile forming on her lips
"She's actually learning her very fast but she shouldn't have done it to me, I'm her master in the game of attitude"
She turned to see Esmeralda who stood behind a pillar, she stick her tongue out as she wiggled it
"Esmeralda"
Lalisa screamed and that got Esmeralda running down the hallway while she ran after her
Students who witness it cursed them for their childish behavior

Lectures was going on in the hall where Esmeralda was receiving lectures, but she wasn't focus as her mind drifted back to primo
"He doesn't even care about my disability, he complimented me, does that mean he's in love with me or does he want to be just friends, it won't be bad if he does loves me, he's handsome, nice, his smile is really beautiful for a guy and I'm sure he will be rich because he's working for the Reggani......."
The beep of her phone brought her out of her thought
"I'm sure its him that chatted me, is that how bad he want to have me around him"
She gave a light chuckle as she logged into her WhatsApp
Her smiled drop when she realize that it wasn't him but Lalisa
She turned her back and found Lalisa staring at her and she faced the projector
Lalisa noticed her change of mood and chuckled
Esmeralda sighed as she decided to read her message
Lalisa:
You still haven't told me who that hot dude who peck your cheek is
Esmeralda:
He is my new friend, are you satisfied now
Lalisa:
What kind of friend peck the other friends cheek, are you sure that you aren't hiding anything from me
Esmeralda:
No I'm not and he refer it to as friendship kiss, I won't expect you to be aware since you're dumb
Lalisa:

Did you just insult me, I won't respond to you right now, let the lecture end, I do not know where you are getting the gut to insult your master
Esmeralda:
(smiles)
Lalisa:
I aren't gonna accept anything coming from you, whatever just tell me his name, I think I find him cute, its high time I dump Manuel and go for him, I would have gone for Andrio because he's more handsome but I don't want Victoria's trouble, you know how vicious she can be

Esmeralda:
I'm not letting you know his name, you and Manuel have gone a long way for you to do this to him
Lalisa smiled at her response:
Are you afraid that I'm going to take him away from you
Esmeralda:
Why would I be afraid, I'm just stating the fact okay
Lalisa: Whatever......
"Lalisa Cabello, I'll advice you to keep your gadget away if you want to main in this class
"I'm sorry ma'am"
Lalisa responded and shove her phone in her bag
Esmeralda also kept her phone away as she tried to focus, he phone beeped but not wanting to get into trouble
She silenced it.
She turned her gaze to the lecturer but she saw Primo, she smiled and rested her head on the desk as she stared at him
"Esmeralda"
The whole class called jerking her out of her imagination
"We know you to be dumb not deaf, at you sure you are okay, who know your ability to speak might be affecting your hearing"
A student asked
Lalisa rolled her eyes while other student laughed
"Evelyn"
The lecturer yelled
"I'm sorry ma'am" the student said while esmeralda couldn't believe that she had imagined the lecturer as Primo
"She's totally wimped by that young man"
