Chapter 29: Full force
The news of killing one of Draven’s disciples and our failure to ascertain Draven’s location spread quickly. I prepared to leave, planning to pass by the Conclave to ask for permission to speak with the whole council of every Guild to request additional assistance in our search for Draven.
I was about to leave the house when I stopped because I saw my father, who seemed to be waiting for me to leave my room.
“Can I talk to you for a second?” he asked seriously.
I just nodded in response, approached him, and sat on the sofa before him.
“Can you tell me, what’s wrong with you, Yexa?”
His question took me aback. “What do you mean?” I asked, frowning.
