After the meeting, I immediately went home. The group decides to continue the mission and find the demon.
Upon arriving home, my father was already there, waiting for me. I was nervous about his silence because I knew he was angry about what happened.
“Tell me what happened, Yexa?” he asked, looking straight into my eyes. “What the hell happened out there?”
“I didn’t know I would encounter a demon on our mission, Father. I was caught by surprise, and protecting my comrades was—”
