Isabel's POV "Mommy, I feel. weird." My heart clenched the second Hazel's little fingers curled into my sleeve. She swayed slightly on the stage, her face pale, eyes unfocused. The music played on, the other children still singing, but everything in me went still. Then she crumpled. "Hazel!" My chair scraped against the waxed floor as I shot up. My vision blurred as I shoved past the other parents, my heels clacking loudly in the dead silence that had fallen over the auditorium.
