It was 10:00pm when officer Carl staggered into the house. The lights was off and so everyone must be asleep by now.
After locking the door behind him, he slowly made his way to the living room and corner to the his right to climb the stairs to his room. He was seriously tired and wanted nothing but to crash on his bed. He'd taken too much alcohol and thank God that he doesn't have a night shift today.
Carl slowly climbed the stairs making sure to hold onto the rails tight so he doesn't fall, that could be disastrous.
Finally, he made it to his room and just as he was about to open his door, something suddenly caught his attention.
