Eva came jumping down the stairs to find Derek waiting for her in the foyer holding a picnic basket while her mother grabbed a blanket from the closet near the kitchen.

“Mama, what are we doing? I want to play with Gabby!”

Taking no offense Ana replied, “Well, then you'll be happy since Gabby and her parents are meeting us at the park.”

“Yay!” Eva screamed while jumping up and down excitedly next to Derek who held an honest smile showing how happy he was to be accompanying both Ana and Eva.

Ana noticed his demeanor and smiled to herself. Turning her direction, Derek caught Ana admiring him. He immediately put down the basket and walked over. Wrapping Ana in his arms he pushed her out of sight into kitchen. The way she made his heart jump just by a look or touch was insane to him but he could not get enough.

Derek had always known about angels as the grandmother he and Landon shared was one. She too had been cast down from Heaven. Being an angel’s fated love never crossed his mind, not until he saw Ana. With one look Derek knew she had to be his. As they spoke, she took hold of his heart and when they touched, he knew he would never let her go.

As Derek’s arms held Ana she felt at peace for the first time in years. The anxiety which burdened her seconds before melted away as she snuggled into his chest before looking up into his emerald eyes. Derek lent down and kissed Ana softly but held his lips to hers for a few moments before whispering, “Please let me show you how real this is.”

He did not plan to say it but in that moment those words came out. Ana pulled back but never broke her sultry gaze. “I feel it too and know this is something, something more than I thought was possible but I still need time to process,” she spoke assuring him he was not alone in his feelings before adding, “but I do not think we are going to finish what we started last night. We have a picnic to attend.” Ana winked at him while he half laughed and sighed.

“Come on Derek and Mom! I want to go!” Eva yelled impatiently.

“We are coming,” Ana shouted from the kitchen. Derek took this moment to once again wrap Ana in his arms but this time he kissed her with more passion. She returned his kiss as her body wanted nothing more than to let him take her right there on the counter. She moaned before catching herself and pulling back from the kiss.

“It sounds like you might want to call Jess and see if she will bring Eva to the park so we can continue this further,” Derek whispered, trailing his fingers around her waistline before moving them upwards slowly.

Finally she gave in. She was taking the first step in believing the prophecy but still could not fully trust the light angel mentioned was her.

Jessica arrived 10 minutes later to collect Eva, giving Ana and Derek a chance to explore what they had. They both felt the intense connection formed by just their kiss last night. What would happen if they went further?

Derek immediately picked up Ana, carrying her to the bedroom kissing the entire way. Before making it to the door Derek felt Ana's hand reach between her precious parts and his hard member as he carried her, her other arm wrapped around his neck and legs encircling his body. He had yet to open the door and she was unzipping his pants, pulling free his large member.

“You are huge!” Ana exclaimed. “My neighbors will hear me.”

“I want them to baby.” Derek whispered while trailing kisses down her neck.

Ana let herself out of his hold nearly toppling over as she quickly removed her shorts in the middle of her hallway. As soon as she was free Derek lifted her back up, his hands grabbing her round ass as she wrapped her arms back around his neck. Derek grabbed Ana's ankles putting one leg on each side of his broad shoulders. The kiss pushed Ana back over the edge. As her inner walls tightened Derek exploded within her. Her vision blurred til all she saw was light. Ana's heart was once again full. It was Derek, her fated love. There was no way to deny it any longer.
