Returning fully takes time. When my physical body finally reunited with my dark soul I knew there was much work to be done.
I had hoped to eliminate David’s mother as she was becoming a problem. Using her as a vessel to speak with Ana was the only reason I had not attempted to remove her before. Providing Ana a pathway to speak with David, in turn relieving her of the guilt caused my plans to disintegrate. Unfortunately David's mother survived despite the overwhelming dark power I used.
It appeared Ana had fallen completely for Derek, relinquishing most of her distraught emotion but thankfully not all. I had to use the sliver of darkness still lodged in her heart to my advantage but the only way was to separate the fated pair.
