This chapter is written in the perspective of Christoffer Wildfern

I parted with Brandon as he slumpedhis way up the stairs , I looked a him before walking off shaking my head. I somewhat understand what he is going through , but his actions and the way he treated others aren't like him. I don't know if the plans I have for him today might make him forget about her for a while , hopefully my advances actually work. Even if it's just for a week.
As I walked down the hallway I say a young girl slowly walking down the hallway while looking at the pictures on the wall , I had never seen her before so I decided to talk to her.I stood still and watched , she walked slowly while looking at the walls , when she finally looked forward and noticed me she got startled and took a tiny step back.
I looked at her with a somewhat puzzled expression. “ Hello “ I said curtly , slowly bowing my head.
I saw the hesitation in her posture , she looked shily down and started twirling her hair. “ Hello “ she said softly.
I furrowed my eyes brows and looked at her , she caught my eyes and held the contact. “ I swear you look just like Jade , are you sister by any chance ?“ I questioned , trying to sound as polite as possible.
“ Yes , I'm her twin sister. Lillian Winter “ she said demurely and bowed softly.
“ I'm Christoffer Wildfern , I'm honoured to meet you “ I said politely and slowly bowed.
Lillian nodded her head and then slowly burrowed her eyebrows. She put her hand on her finger , her eyes focusing on me. I rose an eyebrow in silent questioning before she napped her fingers and her eyes widened.
“You are thee Christoffer Wildfern , fourth best chess Grandmaster in the world right ?“ She said , tilting her head to the side while clasping her hands together.
“ Yes I am , thank you for noticing “ I laughed lightly before pushing a loose strand. “ Can I ask you a few questions if you don't mind ? “ I asked politely.
“ Yes you may , I'll be obliged to answer as best as I possibly can “ she said before a radienr smile appeared on her face
“ Please follow me “ I said softly before walking down the hallway , she shortly followed me as we walked out of the house and into the garden. This one was specifically on the other side of the house. The only one Wich didn't face Brandon's room.
I sat down on a bench and Lillian slowly sat next to me before taking in a deep breathe. A smile appeared on her once troubled face. She looked at me and I smiled back at her before lying against the smoothly crafted bench.
“ So “ I said slowly , catching her attention. “ First of all I just wanted to apologize from the bottom of my heart. I know you don't want to be forced to marry your sisters ex lover , and I know that youroare T's probably forced you to do so because of keeping their reputation right ?“ I asked , putting a hand on my chin.
She frowned before looking down at her feet. “ Please , don't apologise for my misfortunes. My parents are very self - centered. Especially my dad , they do all they do because of the business and do not care about anyone.“ She said gloomly
I furrowed by eyebrows and before I spoke I heard the always loud voice. “ Christoffer , where are you? I'm ready!“ the muffled shout traveled through the garden.
I got to my feet before speaking to her. “ We'd have to continue this conversation later. I pulled out a card with my personal number on it , and handed it to her.
She shakingky took it and nodded in agreement , something shimmered in her eyes. I just couldn't tell what. I walked away in a fast pace as I heard Brandon's impatient steps in the hallways. After making a turn I finalu caught sight of him. He was wearing a white button up shirt with the sleeves rolled up to his elbows. Classic black pants , obviously from a suit and leather black shoes. He turned his head and saw me. He walked up to me and eyed me suspiciously.
“ Where were you? , usually you always came with me to my room “ he said , his eyes focusing on mine.
I rolled my eyes before shrugging his unrelenting gaze off. “ I was just taking a stroll in the house. It's been 8 years since I came here. Give me a break , I just wanted to remember all the memories I made here “ I said , a smirk creeping on my face.
Brandon edged in closer before taking my reasoning for it , he broke contact and started walking towards the door. “ So where are you taking me ?“ He said playfully , opening the door and leading the way.
I started walking right after him , when we reached the parking area he froze in place and gaped at my car. “ What? It's just my car “ I said lamely.
He shot his eyes back at me , the concern ad utter disbelief in his eyes saying it all , without any words needed. “ No ways you own an Aventador!“ He said before walking over and touching the car.
“ Yes , but it's just a car. Nothing special about that “ I said lamely. I was never the one for cars. As long as it got me from point A to point B , I really didn't bother on which car I drove. My wife just really wanted me to but one , so I did. I owned three organisations and a social media platform after all.
“ Let's go “ Brandon said enthusiastically when I unlocked the car , he hopped into the passenger seat. The gleam in his solver eyes , clearly evident.
I smirked when I started the car and revved the engine , this car really is powerful. I pushed down the accelerator and soon enough we were gone.
