Chapter Thirteen I can’t think of one memorable thing that happened in the next five years that is worthy of including in this memoir. A few dead end jobs followed my break up with Maximus, along with a good deal of running from here to there, keeping just a step away from the deluge of emotion that threatened to drown me in thoughts of my crazy past life. I finally landed a job as a clerk-typist working in an advertising company where I seemed to shine for more than my typing skills. With some encouragement from my boss I enrolled in a few graphics classes to pick up the basics of website design, and suddenly the world opened before me.
