A full English country breakfast was served, and the newlyweds tucked into it with as much gusto as they experienced in their conversation. Trevor probed his bride as vigorously as he would a classmate at Oxford, drawing out her opinions on everything from the current deplorable state of the Monarchy to the latest scandals in the British East India Company (whose stock he had sold just in the nick of time).
