Suddenly, Jason, Mariah and Sam looked up as a bright blue lighting bolt jolted across the hazy red sky. Jason carefully adjusted me in his arms and looked at his sister in question. We were all covered in demon muck, dirt, and blood, but we didn't care. It was over, or so we thought.
“What is that?” asked Sam, as he looked at Mariah and Jason.
Mariah and Jason looked at each other and smiled.
“Osiris is coming home. We freed him from his imprisonment,” Mariah said happily.
A few feet away from them, a portal revealed itself and the rusty bearded man walked through with a look of amazement. The portal disappeared behind him, and he looked around.
