Everyone looked up at the cylinders.
“It’s a mechanism,” said Mariah, in surprise, after she looked up at the limestone pillars and then looked back at us.
“What do you mean?” asked Sam, as he looked at her.
“I’ve read about these. Guys, we have made it to the mountain’s exit. We have to figure out how to use the mechanism to open the door,” she explained as she put her hands on her hips.
“So, how do we even get up there?” asked Jason with a sigh.
He sounded frustrated. I looked up at him softly.
"We will figure it out," I said,encouragingly.
