"Mommy look what daddy bought me" my three year old daughter Alexa said running into the kitchen. She was showing me a necklace her father bought for her.
"It beautiful baby" I said rubbing my protruding belly. I was just five months but since I'm having twins I guess I'll keep getting bigger.
"Babe, stay off your feet" Alec said entering the kitchen. I rolled my eyes but still listened to him. I went through this with my first pregnancy. He was extremely protective since my first pregnancy was difficult. My doctor had given me bed rest but the birth itself was very smooth. He gave me a kiss and went to finish our dinner. Alexa was sitting on the bar next to me and talking to my belly. Alec looked up and smiled at me and his daughter.
“I hope you’re both girls” she was saying
